We wanted to come up with some kind of surprise for Eric for Father's day and offer a small gesture to let him know how much we love him. We had a trip planned the week before Father's day and we knew it would be a bit crazy to do something then. So before we left on our trip, we set up a set of new camping chairs (the swinging chairs are incredible!) in our backyard with twinkle lights on each one. We led him outside and each of the kids each sat in a chair and told him something they loved about him.
On Father's Day, we made him breakfast and each of the kids gave him notes and small gifts.
Eric shows up for his kids. He sacrifices and provides. He leads by example. He is such a special father to these special children of ours.
