They graciously served us a yummy dinner and we got to catch up and hang out all evening.
Brinny has a thing for Drew. I can’t blame her. But really all of the Nielsen children are the sweetest as impress me in many different ways (just like their parents!). We love their family!
We spent the night in Wenatchee and the next morning in Leavenworth. Leavenworth has a happy place in our hearts because we spent many summers there with our friends the Calton’s and the Kovar’s.
It is so picturesque.
And has our favorite Christmas store.
It certainly felt like autumn in Leavenworth.
There was a street musician out and she gave Kyler a go on her cool instrument (I can’t remember the name of it!).
Perry didn’t want to be in the picture. He wanted to take the picture. This is what we got.
We splurged (haha!) and let each of the children pick out a fifty cent mini figure as a souvenir.
And we ate a yummy lunch of hot dogs, brats, and pretzels.
Soon after lunch we said goodbye to the lovely Leavenworth and drove to our final destination of the trip.
