Gathering the first egg,
a very momentous occasion
especially in the life of the 7 year old
who found it.
His celebration could be heard by all the neighbors,
I am certain.
We are lucky he didn't drop it
with all of his jumping and running and yelling.
We should thank
a red chicken
for the first.
Now the other chickens have followed suit.
Three eggs total last week,
three eggs a day this week.
that is so exciting! i'm pretty sure i wouldve been running and jumping and yelling too :)
Wow. You look like you now have a real organic farm... :)
