Kalaloch Camping

We survived our longest camping trip yet!
Three nights in a tent.
Eric and I were so proud of ourselves.
And we are already looking forward to our next camping adventure.
But let's just hope that next time
we will remember to note the size of the campsite
when we reserve
because this site was too tiny.
We barely fit our tent.

Sisterly love . . .

That's better.

The trickiest thing about camping is having the car right next to us.
D and cars.
He opens and closes the doors. He plays in the front seat. He screams and cries when it's time to move on.
However, his car seat is also his safe place--a place to calm down and the only way we got him to fall asleep (and then we would move him into the tent).

Kalaloch is on the Olympic Peninsula so we spent some time in the Hoh rain forest.

But the best part of all was the beautiful beach.

What fun to have the Nielsen family and the Losee family camping, too.

We never got a family picture on the beach, so here is one on the ferry ride home.
Pretend that our wind blown hair is very model-like and beautiful, ok.

Kalaloch next summer, please!
